We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious guest house. The location in an upmarket residential area amongst high value houses was truly impressive. The service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were always friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us. The room we stayed in was like a paradise, with beautiful views over the bay. It was well-equipped and furnished, providing us with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast served in our room was superb, and the hotel even accommodated our request for fish-based breakfast options. this place was a perfect choice for a couple looking for quality time together or for a solo traveler seeking peace and tranquility.

One of the best accommodations I have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. The hosts, Malcolm and Bashia were very friendly and helped so much by making my stay memorable. I had a Penthouse with plenty of space and also straight access to the roof with breath taking views on the Ocean below. The decoration of the room was perfect. I also enjoyed the breakfast prepared by the hosts; it was a pleasure to have it on the balcony while admiring the ocean view (and dolphins). There is only a short walk to town (Gordon's Bay) and excellent surroundings for hiking and running. I certainly would like to come back and stay again at Oceana Palms; 5 star luxury with a very reasonable price.

Nothing at all to complain. If somebody finds reason to complain then I suppose it would be better for him/her to stay at home and not to travel at all because this place is perfect. If, however, you want to keep Gordon's Bay as a base for visiting Cape Town, it is a bit too far away (40-45 minutes drive) and the connections there are not so good. In that case it is more recommendable to choose a hotel inside Cape Town area.

Very friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful boutique hotel.

Located in a beautiful upmarket residential area, this guest house is a great option for those visiting nearby areas. A 15-minute drive will bring you to a variety of restaurants in Gordon's Bay. the rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. Breakfasts are good with fresh seasonal fruit and tasty coffee.

The gym equipment is limited and some of it is out of order.

Facilities are upmarket and you don't feel neglected. Good quality furniture and stylish decor.

We were not made aware of the facilities available when we checked in and only found out about the indorr pool and the roof jacuzzi a few hours before we checked out. parking is extremely uncomfortable. The venua was advertised as all rooms with stunning views, we only had a pool pump and filter to look at.

We loved the stunning panoramic view of the bay from the rooftop deck. The hotel facilities were luxurious and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated the location in an upscale residential area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close to nearby shopping malls and attractions.

The heated swimming pool was out of order.I Should have been told when I booked it wouldn't be available.

Located in a beautiful area with stunning sea views, ideal for a relaxing easter vacation. The breakfast was impressive, with a great variety of fruit, fresh bread, and hot breakfast. The staff were polite and helpful, providing a hairdresser recommendation and information about nearby markets.

The rooms were average, lacking in charm and attention to detail. The strong wind noise was a constant disturbance that affected the tranquillity of the guest's stay.

This was probably the best guesthouse in the world, that we have experienced. The service was above excellence, the rooms were large, spacious and well decorated. This included, air con, spa facilities and an incredible walk in bathroom.Also, both Indoor and Outdoor pools(on the roof) were outstanding, and a fully equipped indoor gym for those needing to trim off a few pounds after vacation festivities. Free internet access, incredible breakfast buffet - with the likes of fresh blueberries,muffins and a wide assortment of fruit were truely satisfying. Not to mention a private chef, who takes orders at the table for warmer variants of a typical english breakfast. Oceana palms, felt like a secret hideaway, and was filled with positive energy. We recommend this hotel to any young / mature couple or family.Our experiences and memories of oceana palms exceed five stars and we will return in the near future. Thank you Oceana Palms staff, you were exceptional in every manner.

Excellent pool and gym and ver friendly staff

The view was breathtaking, we couldn't stop staring out at the ocean. the staff was very friendly and always willing to assist. the breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from. the bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like babies. Bonus point for the location, it was close to restaurants and airport.

the windy weather made it difficult to fully enjoy the outdoor activities, but we understand that it's part of nature.

It was a real shame that the managment seemed very bad, luckily we only stays there one night as they seemed to have a cockoch problem and tried to put us in the managments quarters out the back for half price..

The staff was very friendly, the guesthouse was modernly and tastefully decorated, the rooms were beautiful and clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Sometimes we woke up in the morning smelling the fresh homebaked muffins and we could enjoy the beautiful view over the sea from our bed or balcony. The location is great, close to the Gordon Bay restaurants and the Cape town airport is not far away and easy to reach.
